My "Finer Things Club"

Well, actually it's a book club. There are a few ladies from my neighborhood/ward that have started doing this. (Thanks to Sarah for initiating it!) I missed March because I was in Oregon. But this month, we read Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli. At first, I was a little apprehensive because it is a juvenile fiction. However, after reading and discussing it, I might actually go buy it. It's a cute story about a girl who has enough courage to just be herself, Stargirl. It makes me want to have that kind of courage--to be different without worrying about other people judging me. And it's a love story, too. This gives me a good excuse to just sit down and read because I have to read it by the last Thursday of the month! And, BONUS, I may be able to get back in touch with the feminine desire to spend time with other girls... :)
