Whoa! I have been the worst SLACKER in the world...Although, I do have to say that I enjoy Zach's posts WAY more than mine. (Anyone else??) Anyway...some goings-on:
-Sami was sooooo good in the nursery yesterday at church. Zach only stayed in for 30 minutes and she stayed by herself for all the rest. Of course, on our way home from church, we SHOWERed her with our praise hoping that it will help it happen again (only better??) next week. :)
-Thursday...for any of you who live out here in The Oaks, you probably already know what this is about...we had the HUGEST, loudest, rainiest, boomingest, hailingest, darkest thunderstorm. Due to very poor landscaping (thanks to CHEAP Holmes Homes), we have a drainage issue outside the back corner of our place. The water came up to our foundation...I KNOW that if we had a basement, it would have flooded...I am 100% certain.
-I normally LOVE huge storms, like the afore mentioned, but Thursday's hugemongous storm was just a little too much all at once.
-I am SOOO excited to be getting my Greenbean TODAY! I haven't driven it since Zach and I got married...Five Years. (Thanks Alan and Brett for sacrificing your time and talents and Craig and Lois for towing it out here!)
-We have been completely ENGROSSED watching Arrested Development. Why? Only because it is hilariously, outrageously, ungenerically AWESOME. At times, I feel guilty...like I'm cheating on The Office, or something...a secret romance with a different show for which I think I have stronger feelings.
-Did you know that you can add baking soda to your washing machine with liquid detergent?
-I have a project...I found a bed (yes, it was on KSL...I love it). It is a little banged up, but has potential. So, I am ambitious about cleaning it up/sanding it/painting it. When I am finished (I haven't started yet...)I will put up before/after pictures.
-Seriously, I love the KSL classifieds. I have spent a lot of time ksling...for LOTS of different things. Although, the ratio of time spent ksling to the things I actually buy is like 100:1. It is just neat to look at what people are selling for not very much.
-Did I really just use "neat"? It is just my inner (or not so inner, you be the judge (but please don't tell me)) nerd shining through the dusty, trying-to-be-cool exterior. I mean, I AM cool, of course! (No comments, Zach.) (Or Anna) ;)
-I think I'm losing my touch...I was bored with my post before I got past my second thought.
-Hmmm....I think ice cream sounds REALLY good...really, really good.
-Here's a test...how many "words" can you find that are made up?
-The following is NOT a random thought, but merely information I wanted to pass along...
We are selling our car. If you, or anyone you know, or don't know, is looking for a reliable, non-guzzling car...look at my ad (on KSL, OF COURSE!). All the details are there. This is pathetic, I know, advertising on my blog...It is just shameless! I'm sure you'll forgive me in the end.
-Okay, Bye.

Hi Tara! Your little girl is so cute! You know, I keep hearing about Arrested Development, I really should watch it, since I love The Office.
And I add the super washing soda to every load of laundry, and occasionally borax. I also use vinegar instead of fabric softener. I'm glad I've found someone else who appreciates simple money-saving things for around the house--we'll have to exchange more ideas! :)
Tara I was begining to think you didn't like blogging anymore! I really enjoy reading your blog, it makes me laugh. And can I just say, Arrested Development is a fam fav and I LOVE IT, more than the Office.
Welcome back, good to see ya in the blogging world again!
Tara, glad to see you posting again! you are HILARIOUS! You need to save your car until next year so we can buy it for Tori ...that just gave me a minor heart attack writing that last sentence!!!!
